This Amazonite necklace comprises lantern cut beads (10x 9mm}
Amazonite in this necklace is a delicate blue / green colour and is translucent showing the inclusions which are a key feature of the stone. It has a crystalline structure which means that it offers a lustrous reflection - an iridescence which enhances all skin tones. The lantern cut beads show this off to perfection. It is another stone which has been unearthed in archaeological digs, and is named for the Amazon river where, legend has it, this was first found.
The necklace is 19" and is finished with gold coloured sead beads and a gold plated sterling silver magnetic clasp
