This is a reflective telescope with a large 12.0 inch (305 mm) aperture free-stop dobsonian mount mount. A large aperture is required for observing at high magnification, such as when near Mars. The separated barrel is connected by three sturdy shafts and can be stretched and compactly packed for easy transportation to the observation area. It can also save space when stored.
